"» 5 km" altitude (My First Flight)...!!!

The maximum altitude that you can go without flying, i.e. by land is 8.8km (Mount Everest). Of course I didnt trek that one up, so its on an avg. 5km.
Its always something that you will think about : Travelling around.
There have been various means of transport such the ancient carts, then developed bull carts and so on to bicycles, bikes, cars, ships, aircrafts, submarines and rockets too. But, everyone has their own likes to its selection. To be frank, I prefer a safer one; Train and its the best to be travelling in it.
After 21 years 8 months of my birth, its the first time that I have got an opportunity to fly in air; My First Flight. I reached there, way before the prescribed time - 6am. Went in and had a clear view over the entire terminal section. Had a wonderful sight very similar to a Class-Mall and nothing less. Getting set to get in, I went into the Arrival Gate No. 01. and CISF jawan bearing a M/C gun and AK47 (hope so) verified my passport and tickets and later allowed me in.  I went into the Airport. Had a brief of all and went in for check-in. There were 2 neatly white-ed ladies behind the glasses and I smoothly, to her attraction gave my tickets. With a very widened smile she confirmed my check in and I got my tickets to fly. I walked on to the security check, where-in I was checked briefly and allowed me into the lounge.
The gate number written was 26 @ 9.40 am.
I waited watching the highlights of the match between India and WestIndies ( T20 ).
Meanwhile, something happened. A very pretty and absolute lady with a heavenly attire and smelling pure came by side, I plugged out my ear phones
'Can I sit next to you?', she said
It was one common long chair (not much long), but just to accommodate 2 people. And their was not hand rest in middle to the resistance.
'Ofcourse!!!', I said
I was amazed to see such a pretty lady (really couldnt explain) even without makeup sitting next to me. [JUST NEXT TO ME]
'Oh wow!!!', I said involuntarily
My weird looks and behaviour on her confused her thoughts.
'Hi', She said
'HIIIIIIIIIIIIII', I responded in length
I looked down to stop her being suspicious on me.
'I have a flight to catch', She said and flashed off taking her very tiny little red bag that matched with her yellow attire.
After some distance she waved at me with a big smile. She was following some handsome guys and other pretty girls of same attire. So, she is an Air Hostess.
'Wowwwwww!!!', I said to myself
I waited there till my flight was announced and Gate was open. I went through that narrow passage bridged to the Boeing Airplane.
I was greeted with a cool Namaskar at the door edge by another pretty girl. I complied and reached over to my seat. A cute pair came up and sat in the corresponding seats adjacent to me.
'Hi', I said diplomatically
'Hii', he said
They were in their own gestures and talks as they were all set for there planned honeymoon in Kerala. I preferred not to disturb them and concentrated on the first flight instructions. After having known those 'anytime helpful' instructions drama by air hostess, I saw that smooth flight movement towards the majestic runway.
It stopped.
Ignition was ON and supercharger inside were all set too and everything to provide the initial lift for the flight to take off and reach the altitude.
Slowly, then swiftly, then tremendously it capacity. I felt the drop of pressure in my blood. It felt different but definitely it contained a thrill. Within 10 min it reached a stable height and instructions to relax were on air. I just never missed the chance to view the land below, the land below thick clouds.
For the first time, I needed to watch down to get the view of a cloud. Those views are just too much for the first flight passenger's to enjoy and grow ecstatic.
I slept for some time and the hit inside me stopped me sleeping. After 1hr and 40 min, captain announced the landing and we were all locked in seat belts again.
As and then the land started to appear, it was complete greenery I could see. I was proud Malayali then; the proud Kerala wala. I saw only trees in the farthest vicinity. And it was at some 10km above the land level that I could see those roads, lanes, buildings, fields, rivers etc.
My concept about Air Hostess got completely reversed, but it was later that I got to know that in Domestic Planes and usually in low cost flights you cant avail any loyal services. I had intuitions of them serving us politely and giving attentions. It was all different.
I liked the sound when hit down Cochin International Airport Runway. I liked the way the giant body with no friction pitched the ground with highest friction with least tolerance. Its absolutely a miraculous register or invention by Wright Brothers.
And there it ended my first flight which I thought was the first one for some others too, reading there actions and attitude.
And that was it...!!!

The Undiscovered Man - (EPISODE 1) - Short Story

VILLAGE OFFICER'S RESIDENCE

'utensils falling'

'What happened yar...???', asked a polite man with his manly-but-lovely voice

'I dont know how come I fall in love with you', said a middle aged pretty lady who still could win the term 'Miss' once again despite of her age

'I too doubt how', said the polite man

'Yes, I was mad and I regret', shouted the lady

'You should be', the polite man said giggling

'Another utensil fall down'

'Papa, I want a cycle!!!', a Cute Boy demanded hesitatingly with a fear of being scolded

Polite Man was a very cool gentle man desiring the least from his half life ahead. A clear irony is reflected in him, to someone who knows his past. Just 10 years before, he was one of those passionate dreamer of life who topped the boards and universities. Expectations of thousands entitled every drop of his blood to aim much more higher position which made him reject the offer from CitiBank and joined IAS coaching institute, debt-ing everything. He criticized those expectation hoppers.

He was anxious about his children. He never wanted his children to be in a situation which he was. He had limits of making all of his wish possible.

He is now an ordinary Village Officer of a very low class village and earning a sum of Rs.30,000 and has to feed his pretty wife and two children.

He preferred not to reply.

'Papa, are you hearing???', Cute Boy repeated

Polite Man tried to act being busy in the work he is doing.

Cute Boy accepted his defeat. He left for the second option: 'his mother'

She laughed and said, 'he is never gonna get you any cycle unless its a dream'

Her face bold and eyebrows raised and was looking at him. And his eyes already on her, he smiled. She gave sarcastic look on him and turned over her head towards the kitchen works which she hated and wanted a servant to replace, which actually was the reason of the fight for the day.

Cute Boy was desperately needing it and demanding it for months but he dejected it and lost his hope on any improvement on the cycle issue.

They had their dinner together and everyone were in complete silence. The only sound that echoed in the room was that of the tv featuring the movie ' SARFAROSH '  starring Amir Khan as IAS officer, which made him think about his past. He didnt complete his dinner that has been served and went to sleep. His pretty wife noticed it, and soon went to the dark bedroom and checked him.

His manly voice never reflected in his life, he was very sensitive person from heart but always tried to show the laughter outside.

He was crying.

He noticed his pretty wife coming. He started to wipe those small drops of innocence that came out of his eyes. She gently moved her hands over his hands and came forward to kiss him on his cheek which still contained those tears. She kissed him lovingly and moved her hands over his forehead. Both were exchanging infinite messages through there eyes that could only be heard by the rain which just started to fall to cool the eruption of emotions.

'I love you', she said

He smiled. She smiled back in return and kept her ears over his heart which she usually does. He started moving his hands over her straightened hair passionately.

'We need to get him a cycle', he said

She got up, removed her ear rings and gave it to him.

'You remember what I said when I took your hand', he said

He helped her tighten it back on to her beautiful ears.

She smiled and hugged him.

The Cute Boy overheard the conversation and was cursing his demands. He understood his limits and love that his parents have and gave to him. He remained hidden in the corner and all of a sudden a cute gal came up jumping over to the bed and the cute boy followed his sister.

The next day, he took the savings that he made by walking to the office rather taking the bus and bought a new gear cycle which he thought his child may never even have dreamt in his dearest of dear dreams.

A brand new reddish-black gear cycle was all set to meet the surprise of a cute boys' year-old desire. Both Polite Man and Pretty Lady were waiting for the happiness due on their child's face.

Change of State 3 (G17)

Well, this is my first post after I got my graduation done. Its up my semester result too and I am an Engineer now;

B Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a CGPA of 8.09.

It isnt the marks that made me morale-rich at the outlet, rather it is the unforgettable memories (the one with Liebe), friendship (the royal mens), ideas (escape every other hardships, questioning, exams, viva tactically), leadership (standing up to plan, activate, proceed and lead to the results that couldn't be predicted), group discussions (late night studies only before exams) etc.

Coming to my real cause of being here in Hyderabad; Gate 2017. My first day to Made Easy Academy. I walked down the 1km diatance from my stay place all alone looking around through the very famous fruit market; Kothapet. I went in to fully AC fed class with almost 400 students(from all over the country) with full fledged sound system and lighting that ensured equal visibility and audibility. The class arena was perfect, now its just the teacher to be examined. The same day I was extremely happy for the decision I took. There is a wide range of knowledge being exchanged here and the same place has witnessed huge amount of toppers. Infact the EEE topper of Gate 2016 did his course sitting in same room where I am taking the coaching. It was and is a moment of pride to have that every extra bit of new concepts thats being viewed over by extra talented -being specific: Ex-IAS, Ex-IES Officers and even present IES Officers, GATE toppers at the minima as our esteemed teachers. It just really feels special and lucky to be out here. During the break time, I went to the top and saw a flag at a distance. The flag is around 15 km's away, I zoomed my eyes over to it and I discovered thats India's Flag, My flag, Our flag. I felt overjoyed and asked the one standing just beside me. He explained me that it is the second tallest flag (291 feet) in India and could be viewed from anywhere in Hyderabad. It was placed in accordance with the celebrations of 2nd Anniversary of newly formed state; Telangana. It is in the Sanjeevaih Gargen, Hussain Sagar. Also I saw the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium that is just around 8km from here.

All my feelings of loneliness has also gone when I met the two new malayalis of the same class:
Anees from Kollam,
Sreejith from Trivandrum

Almost 2 months passed by when I got my first holiday. I took Anees, my new companion and visited the great Hussain Sagar, The Lumbini Garden and so on. We left for it with our caps ON to resist the huge rays of Vitamin D to not hit our face directly. We got into the bus and it passed by Dilsukhnagar, Old Malakpet, Koti, Nampally Station, NTR Garden to reach the final destination.
Lumbini Garden: One of the most mesmerising sights to watch over on any of your Hyderabad visit. Its kept serene and rebuilt even after the Bomb Blasts that took place there. We took some pics and took a boat to move on to the buddha statue erected at the centre of the pond; the hussain sagar. Its an ecstatic moment if you are in a place surrounded by water and the sun bending on downwards. I saw that same tallest flag out there. It was a thrilling moment to see that flag flutter and differentiate ever movement of wind happening at that height.
The laser show was due at 5pm and we took those two tickets and sat in the last seat of the show-place hoping that the show would be great as was overheard from the crowd outside. The show started and it didnt turn up as expected. It was after some 15 minutes that the original colors of event blossomed all over, and it was shockingly superb in mere contradiction to our prejudice some time before and the real digital laser covered all over the open hall. Every other display gathered  more and more claps. It was becoming more and more extraordinary every second it passed, and then it got over.
'Once More!!!' , was heard all over the crowd but the next set of audience were already ready for the show. It was some time later that I discovered this laser show is the Asia's Best.
The holiday-day ended.

I changed my room in the middle and am now in Room No. 107 accompanied by 2 extra decent people:

1 is a shuddh Brahmin: Avi Bhai and
2nd is Teja Bhai who resigned from Infosys to go for GATE. Both were from famous Visakhapatnam. Its great to be in company with them.

Studies have gone on very high note that am not even getting a second spare to share my thoughts to you. But I must frankly say, such coaching centres are cheating all those of you out there who have completed your engineering and waiting for a job. Its tough, the competition is very high. I can feel it. Let me prove it (considering Mechanical Engineers): We would at max have a job openings of 3 lack per year. I have 400 students in my class, similarly there are 3 batches in our academy and there are over 50 academies out here in Hyderabad. And most of them are having atleast 20 batches. Now summing these up with academies at other places, other than Hyderabad - it will cross atleast over 5 lack students and all those 5 lack students are anyhow extra abled than the others out in home. You really are facing a tough competition guys, I must say. I suggest you to join any of this and work hard so that you can be on a powerful and satisfying position or atleast get a software job. Otherwise, a software job is also a dream to you. A life of an engineer is becoming tough exponentially. Beware...!!!

So, on note of my completion of B Tech, I have this piece of info/ advice for you-
'you have to different to survive, otherwise its waste running alone...'

All the best guys :)

And finally, my condolences to one of my best friend Edwin's Father. RIP!!!

'Life is just a sweet revenge of your memories'

Change of State 2 (Sync of Culture)

'Hariiiiii get up', Bhaskar said.
It was some thousand-th time that he called my name to wake me up, before I heard it. I was totally tired and exhauated. It was 9am, and whole of the hostel and its people were in buzz. It was altogether a different mixup and turn around's seen literally. I got my eyes cleared, took my mobile, saw the display wallpaper on it and got that little and most obvious smile on my face that created or may be nourished my day ahead. That pic had always been there since when I got my first image reading mobile _ Nokia Asha 200. It has never ever stopped me from believing in miracles and has been an impossible dream since I saw that pic in life for first time in real.
I am pretty sure, all you readers are madly in doubt about the pic and curious to high degree. I wanna reply to you by saying that its about something that cannot be studied by science or calculated by mathematical equations; Liebe...
'9.30 am the breakfast will be over,' Bhaskar said
I brushed up fast, cleaned my new plate and rushed to the mess that was on the top floor running avoiding the lift that is too slow.
I got that first breakfast made in hostel, and that was enough to appreciate mom's cook.
It was tough to bite that round dosa, but my teeth managed to win the struggle.
Round the clock, nothing to do and I thought of going out. It was Charminar which came into my mind all of a sudden. My roommate Salman insisted to visit Salal Jung Museum near to it. I bought a cap to protect from the deadly sun and started my travel for the day. It was not far, but the high class traffic persisting in the city took 45min to take us 10 km. And I was in front of the great Salal Jung Museum which protects and exhibits a large wave of architectural beauties and history that created the city. There is one special thing among those versatile old belongings which attracted a huge amount of crowd; Musical Clock (English Bracket Clock). The clock contains a mechanism by which a small toy figure of bearded man comes out from the enclosure 3 min early to every hour and strike the corresponding hours on the gong to end of every 60th minute and goes back inside(in pics below). And it was entirely a flow over through history. Lots of school students were on for educational tour and other tourists too were there.
I walked on to Charminar after having the most famous Hyderabadi Chicken Biriyani. It was visible from the far end of the road that takes you straight to 'The Great Charminar of Hyderabad'. It was completely filled with a huge amount street vendors as it attracted a huge amount of people there, it was mesmerising to see the crowd, bargaining. It was completely busy area and everyone were doing there business. I was finding myself alone in that big crowd. But Charminar had a big story behind it, which you would come to know if you visit the most famous digital laser show at Lumbini Park, NTR gardens road (will tell in my coming episodes). There was a Royal Hindu- Muslim love marriage that took place in Hyderabad, before it was named so, which is very historic and the base for the city. Accordingly, King Qutb shah constructed the Charminar in the year 1589, on the very spot where he first glimpsed his future queen Bhagmati and after her conversion to Islam, Qutb Shah renamed the city as "Hyderabad". Charminar is said to be in the heart of the city and was a place to observe the activities of the city all the way through. It is obvious that every person coming to Hyderabad surely visits this place.
I reached back my hostel @6pm...
And so were my days of sync with the culture of people here. I am more like a Hyderabadi with every other day passing by.

Let the beauty of the city and its monuments be spread...

Saturday 9 July 2016

Change of State 1 (Kerala to Telangana)

Finally, I have decided to drop my probable job at Mumbai CST Airport and join Made Easy Academy were students post-engineering are being trained to be efficient  enough to clear the highly competitive exams like GATE(Graduate Engineering Aptitude Test), IES(Indian Engineering Services), PSU's etc. I have decided to go for GATE 2017 which I qualified in 2016 without much studies. In hope to get the required marks to join IIT Kharagpur (M Tech in Thermal Sciences) I shifted myself to Hyderabad and my father accompanied me in the journey. We were at MGBS (Mahathma Gandhi Bus Station) @5am, which is one and only bus station having buses to every other state of the country as per my recent friend's point of knowledge. A bunch of auto drivers or may be the agents rounded us with the obvious buzz of competition in rates. They were also mentioning about some hotel stay and all. I was certain about this action as it was foretold by my local friend who also did add that, dont believe any and get on your own. I was in full thought of refusing them and they tried there best. But, I won when I said I have a residence out here and I have to go there. Everyone turned back to find there next prey's obviously someone not like us. They were bargaining for Rs. 10 to drop us at Koti(the place were you only find books and readers) and all of a sudden they changed there tongue, when I called one of those auto drivers and enquired
'Could you drop us???'.
He said, 'Rs. 70'
I was shocked of there phase change and as of a sudden reflex I asked for reason of this  price rise.
'Only if you get a hotel on rent we could drop you at Koti at Rs.10'
So that was there commission strategy and it didnt work with us.
We finally could get through to Koti with Rs. 30 being spared (even that was more than enough).
'The best of thieves and burglars are found in a place of strange entry', my mind registered a thought.
We were early to Made Easy Office by 2 hrs. I thought about looking for hostels while my father waited to look after the luggage as it was too tough to carry it along which contained books that has to be stored to my brain after the following 6 month coaching here.
I found hostel were student to toilet ratio was 50:1, student to bed ratio was 2:1. I got my mind down on seeing those but my inner mind commanded,
'I can sacrifice or more clearly I am able to sustain whatever I am offered with as a problem to be faced from the so called creator; God'
Rs. 49500 in cash was given and my admission was done. So, its a key that I have it now but I just have to run, run as faster as possible trailing all the runners to reach the lock of ranks that is the farthest; the first rank may be. Its 5 days short of classes to begin.
I got a hostel that wasnt bad enough and was definitely the best of the available. Its near to the very famous Kothapet Fruit Market and 900 m from 'my' academy.
That evening, I saw my father's face slowly diminishing into the near infinity as he waved his hands in air in containment of pain in leaving his only son back alone. I was absolutely alone, I saw none of the faces that came in my eye frame before. New place, New people, New things...!!!
Unusually my eyes got moist. I thought to myself,
'It was my decision of to do this, and I wanted the same life'
I decided to be strong and smiled on such contradictions of mind.
After allowing my eyes to dry, I traced the path back to 'my' new home, 'my' hostel were 2 people who were completely new to me, who were to share the same room for the next 6 months were waiting for an intro chat with me.

Ecstasy in Death

Once in the dim moonlight, a man; unshaved for long, dim eyes, long hairs to seem like a freak, a dim blue shirt improperly tucked in, white pants which turned almost to a light brown by the day’s work at firm, he was walking through the moon-illuminated dark path after getting down from the only bus to reach from his very widely known firm. He was sick from inside since a long time but seeking to cheer from outside. He looked sad and grief clearly seen at his face which made a strange erroneous image of his personality. He was judging the life he is leading, about the obvious results, interpretations, philosophies and that entire sort of things. He was positive in his attitude that kept him moving through in his dull life. He was passing through the darkest side of the road and as he passed through he heard a hard, stern voice from his back. In anxiety, he looked back for the source of the sound. He saw an old wrinkled bright face from behind.
It was a lonely Old Man standing straight, pride reflecting on his face. Young Man paused to hear.
Old Man said:
‘You seem to be hungry for days; I will give you food and in return could you help me out in cleaning my home?’
Young Man seemed stunned; all his egotism emerged out of him to protest the Old Man’s misunderstanding. He stood there for a moment and reviewed his state. ‘Old Man is apparently right’, he thought to himself. Young Man missed doing any unrealistic, irrational or illogical comments, works, and talks after his college days where he enjoyed the most. Young Man tried to make it a hit back to the past.
Young Man said:
‘Thank You Sir, that’s a great aid for me. I haven’t had food for last 3 days. I could do any work you assign. You will be blessed for the support’
Old Man asked to follow him through to his small but beautifully decorated home with the nature works. Old Man asked out in curiosity:
‘How did you get these good pants, shoes and a bag? Is it a stolen one?’
Old Man chuckled!
Young Man brilliantly made up saying:
‘This was from my previous master; he gave me in return of the jobs being done at his home. He was a nice gentleman like you, Sir’
Old Man grinned!
The internals of home were neatly arranged and structures were with architectural precision to please the eyes of any, coming in. Young Man followed and did all the works that were being assigned. He was tired at the end physically but he wasn’t from heart, from mind. He was given with strong, delicious, hot dishes that Old Man has made for him. Old Man was happy for his work aids and Young Man for his food. Young Man realized the importance of mind-satisfaction over the others. Young Man deserved it more, but he couldn’t achieve this eternal happiness of satisfaction of the work you do. He got lost back to the thoughts, but this time the chamber of dreams opened up. He Thanked the Old Man.
Old Man said:
‘Come back tomorrow’
‘Definitely’
Young Man praised and walked out to his own home. He was smiling throughout the walk back home. He felt stronger. The grief has gone, he has got someone to replace or a facsimile of heart. He could sleep that night early without a dose. He dreamt for the very first time after the day he had last seen her.
Next morning with his usual prompt attitude but a bizarre additional unsullied contentment glazing around his face, he reached his firm. As he entered his cubicle, the phone on his table started ringing. He quickly picked up to talk.
A Harsh Voice said:
‘Come to my office now’ and hung-up
Young Man with dim-face, walked over to his boss’s room.
From the door he heard the recurring shouts of his boss on other employees. He pushed the door open to ask for permission to GET IN; prior to it a shout came to him asking:
‘Did you complete the project invoice corrections?’
Young Man gently replied:
‘Almost done, I promise you to get it done by today sir’
‘You could just do the almost part; you don’t know how to complete. You are just a waste to this firm, indeed waste to this land. Do you know anything that you could complete?’
Boss asked to taunt him with a wry smile ON his face, all others in understanding and compliance got into laughter to satirize.
‘You give back the records; I would complete it of my own’
He concluded with a sarcastic move of face out of Young Man’s eye which was his deception in real. It was the 183rd time that the project he was about to complete was took over by his boss. He was just 1 tier down to his boss’s place at the time he joined the firm, but now his boss is on the topmost tier and the Young Man is in the same place. It’s been 5 years since he has been working on the same table, same position.
Young Man was innocent; he gave the 99% complete project invoice corrections to his Boss. Boss got through with the 1% and submitted the mail back to head office. Soon an appreciation mail came up for the rapid pace of work completion and a smile turned up on the Boss’s face which looks absolutely similar to the butcher’s face when he gets money in return to the meat he vends. Young Man was staring at his master’s smiling face. Young Man smiled either. Boss shifted back his eyes on the smiling Young Man’s face, he said shouting:
‘Get back to your new assignments’
Young Man silently in grief of his lost 183rd assignment, moved to his cubicle. During his passage various pretty faces with ugly minds gave a passive smile over his obvious conditions. His mob started ringing; he checked out the name and dropped the call. On the mob it read:
22 missed calls’
He saw that with pain inside. He couldn’t resist the bit of tear that traced through the eyelids, nose and to the polluted floor of the rooms corner where he was standing. The tear that he lit cleaned the slightest part of floor, and that showed up the original white color of the same floor. He borrowed some happiness from the same fact that: My tear cleaned the fume of floor, at least I am needed by them.
He then got fed into the usual assignment works and the aggressive Boss didn’t allow him have lunch, Young Man fearfully obeyed him. Young Man thought to himself,
‘My Boss is right, why I am required here? I am a waste. I couldn’t do anything’.
His innocence confused his knowledge about self.
Tired Young Man traced back the same dark path back home. Old Man stood there waiting for him. Old Man called up and smiling Young Man followed to activate the deal. Old Man opened his bunch of stories, experiences this time.
Old Man sat on a chair and narrated his story of his no-marriage-on-an-unsuccessful-love to the Young Man. Old Man was keen to impart all the minute details about his abortive love which were conflictingly the only memories that he cherished. Old Man’s inquisitiveness on Young Man made him ask:
‘Do you have any such love?’
Young Man checked back his phone, it read:
49 missed calls’
Young Man replied with his tear lit up to the eye lids and wiping out:
‘No, sir’
Old Man sighed in discontentment.                                                                                         Old Man with the same respect and love had made the food for his so called servant which he fed. Young Man was happy again, for the satisfaction he received.
He realized that the old say is very true:
A Bad Job with Good Boss is better than a Good Job with a Bad Boss
He had another peaceful night.
But the phone still flashed saying:
73 missed calls’

The same routine followed the next day and he was being yet again exploited by his great Boss. After the office hours, he got into the only bus to home. He took out his phone and kept his eyes glued to the picture that he opened on his phone. It was his picture along with her, taken on their 4th Anniversary of love. He went down to the memories of his college days where he desperately loved her, but she never accepted his love. And later on with a course of successive events he got his deserving love. He was absolutely happy then.
A gentle familiar touch on his shoulder brought him back to present. It was her; his Lady.
He got a big blow. He asked:
‘You? Here?’  He was searching for words.
Lady stays at a different place far away from his and is pursuing a job, but came right here for him. She is practical, real, smart and happy irrespective of the circumstances. She understands people’s feelings, specifically the Young Man’s. Lady replied:
‘I am here for you,’ with a greeting smile on her face
She sat next to him and they kept silent for some time. It was the high intensity of their relationship which kept them in the state of tranquility. Lady has empathy over him. Lady figured out his uneasiness. Lady said:
‘It’s OK, I know you aren’t doing fine nowadays’
The Young Man said:
‘No, it isn’t. I am sorry; I didn’t pick up your calls’
Lady said:
‘You don’t need to be sorry to your lover’ she said smiling
That smile emerged out of her heart to dry the tear hitting the doors of his eyelids everyday in his work life. He was wrenched to the paradise containing love and happiness; The Lady’s Smile. His mind twirled. He said:
‘You are the only worth achievement I have got’
Lady said:
‘That’s very true,’ again smiling on imparting her modesty with her eyebrows launching up in grace. She always loved being praised by him.
‘So tell me, what happened?’
The Young Man explained him about the discontent towards his firm and the changes lead by it. The problems he runs through. Lady was compassionately listening to her lover’s sorrow. Lady was genuinely concerned about the Young Man’s problem but alike the Young Man, Lady kept positive.
The bus reached Young Man’s destination. Young Man held the Lady’s hand softly but locked and walked up through other route to home so as to escape the Old Man. He wanted the covert of him to be hidden before both Old Man and Lady.
After reaching home, Lady made food for him. They ate, he always liked her food. He exclaimed:
‘Awesome’
They were both 25 years old. They didn’t marry yet, they never thought much about it. Life after college was as busy as seen. Young Man arranged the bed for the Lady. He said:
‘You may sleep; I have some works to be done. Our GM is paying visit to firm tomorrow’
Lady replied:
‘I need to talk’
‘Tell’ he sat down
‘I don’t know if it’s the right time, but I need to tell’
‘Go on’
‘I want to marry you’
Young Man was astounded!
7 years ago, Young Man said the same thing to The Lady in college. He was gauging the changes that came to his life within this period. Young Man kept silent.
Lady said:
‘Don’t need to be worried about it, but please think on it’
It froze Young Man’s heart. He said:
‘Do I deserve a girl like you?’
Her childish humbleness spoke out again when she lifted her eyebrows again. Lady replied:
‘I am lucky to have you! Good Night!’
She gave a dedicated kiss to him on his right cheek and covered her face with blanket in shy. Young Man’s solidified adrenaline got his heat and ran in excitement. It was enough for him to be satisfied and happy. He went on to do the works assigned on the GM visit tomorrow moving to the other room after texting a message to her:
‘I love you’
She replied:
‘I love you too’
He slept on the chair. He woke up and asked her to stay back at home and travel through the city.  He rushed to the firm saying:
‘I will be late, back home’
GM visit gave obvious pressures to his Boss, which he transferred on to Young Man. Young Man was busy with his works.
One of the employees said:
‘It’s been said that our old GM has also come along to watch over the data’s’
Young Man replied:
‘Why does he want to know that?’
‘He was the best GM of our firm ever; he is the one who took our firm to this height. You might have heard about Dr. Prabhakar. It’s him!’
‘Yes, I have. Is he here?’
‘Yeah, but nobody is allowed to meet him’
Young Man aborted his wish to meet him.
The Old GM was analyzing the workers through the CCTV camera, while he got passed through Young Man’s face. He scrolled to get a zoomed picture of Young Man. He identified Young Man. He asked Young Man’s Boss about Young Man. Boss with excessive esteem to his-boss, said:
‘He is the Second-Assistant Manager, joined 4 years ago’
Old GM asked:
‘Why didn’t he get promoted since long?’
‘He is a hopeless surplus, Sir’
Old GM was confused. He was absolutely in the middle of nowhere.
After the work at firm, Young Man took his bus back to Old Man’s home. Old Man was having a worried puzzled look. Old Man kept numb. Young Man carried out the works and sat down to have food as per the existing deal. Old Man taking all the courage and with a perturbing mystifying face asked:
‘Who are you?’
Young Man to-end-the-play, said:
‘I am Krish, working as Second-Assistant Manager at a firm’
Old Man was convinced. But to continue, now with the start of his play; he asked:
‘You work at a firm on a decent position yet you look terribly ill, bodily weak, and mentally feeble?’
Young Man described the life he is passing through and the intricacy, frustration, catastrophe that he dealt after his college days-where he imagined about a much broad life that he could trail. He detailed his college days filled of ideas, dreams, longings and confidence and life after. He explained the grief of life ahead. Sharing it to Old Man gave Young Man the peace to his essence.
Old Man was dazed to see a versatile character and an owner of very unique personality whom he considered as his servant. Young Man never thought of having a disregard to his self-esteem due to this misunderstanding.
Old Man kept mute along the phase and Young Man in relief of revealing his distress kept calm. While the Young Man was walking out, Old Man called up and said:
‘You don’t need to come again’ with a mourning smile
Young Man replied:
‘May I?’
‘You’re Wish’
‘I guess some tomorrow will make everything right’
‘May that tomorrow come soon, son’
Young Man walked down the lanes to his home where his adore lay. He had a nice day to sink his sleep in dreams that he never used to watch. His sleep belonged to him now.
Next Morning was a bit noisy due to the falling of big drops of rain over the thick dry ground which produced a glee smell of mud that enriched the positive within.
The Lady stayed!
Young Man went to firm. It was absolutely a different scenario that he passed through while entering the firm. He was honored with round of claps, cheers, standing ovations. He was happy from nowhere. He didn’t know the reason, but yes he didn’t want to. His ecstasy within was unbounded right then. He was less bothered on the reason, but the news came:
‘He is being promoted to the place where Young Man’s Boss worked at. And the second news is that His Boss is being terminated from the firm’
He was ecstatic and so as to dilute the happiness which he acquired at that moment, he ran from that place over to 4 km’s to adulterate the level of happiness he achieved. He reached his home and took his soul with him and enjoyed the feet he achieved. The Lady was happy.
Lady thought it the appropriate moment to ask:
‘Will you marry me?’
‘Any doubt!’
Tears brushed past her blackened 21-eyelid hairs instantly and she hugged him so tight that she could make him feel how much she loves him.
His tomorrow has come; The Young Man’s. Young Man came to know that this was all done by the Old GM after recognizing him. Young Man wished to thank him, but Old GM demanded his privacy. Young Man never tried to contact the Old GM later.
Young Man convinced his and the Lady’s parents for marriage. The marriage was fixed and most of all the important guests were invited. Young Man thought of inviting the Old Man. Young Man considered Old Man as his luck. He decided to take his Lady along to Old Man’s place after telling about the story between him and Old Man. It’s been a long time, since he went there. He wanted to introduce his love and about the tomorrow-that-has-come.
He saw a huge number of people surrounding outside and inside the Old Man’s home from far. They reached the place, walked in and got that traumatizing news:
‘Old Man is dead
Young Man couldn’t control the emotions and the eyes watered rapidly and at even pace. His breathe summoned the grief of a lost friend. He froze. He reached the funeral and that is where he was taken aback as he saw the writing’s on grave:
Mr. Prabhakar (Ex-GM)
Young Man knelt down with his forehead touching the grave, uncontrolled tears along the fast breathes flowing on. The Lady couldn’t act in response in any way. She placed her arm over his shoulders. He cried along the day. He realized, he has just watched The God; The Old Man; The Old GM.
He took the invitation card from his pocket and kept it over the grave.
It read:
‘KRISH WEDS PINKY’
We cordially invite you to have your esteemed presence for making it a grand event.
He took his pen and wrote in to-column:
